Hello everybody,
2016 will be one of the most ambitious years ever for the Hortus Urbis project (www.hortusurbis.it) an educational edible garden in the Appia Antica Park in Rome with solely plants of the Ancient Romans. Although the Hortus Urbis is a public park, the park’s operating support comes from volunteers, neighbors and friends like you, people across our city and around the world who care about the Hortus Urbis as much as we do.
We have a new challenge since we have attempted a private grant, so rare in Italy, and have been listed by the Aviva Community Fund. The procedure foresees a vote for the shortlisted projects and a final jury evaluation for the most voted projects.
That’s why we ask you to help, to vote for the project on: https://community-fund-italia.aviva.com/voting/progetto/vista/14
Sorry it is in Italian, English information is available in the garden’s web site. You must register with an email and password and then you can give the project up to 10 votes.
Because of friends like you, the Hortus Urbis will soon begin its fourth season as an extraordinary public park!
Thank you so much for your support of Hortus Urbis.
Kind regards,
