Zappata Romana, the Parco Regionale dell’Appia Antica and Terra Onlus! are pleased to invite you, within the National WWF Italia event “URBAN NATURE”, to the course on how to build a traditional wood fired clay oven.
Join us and discover just how simple it is. On this three day course we will be running through the whole process from start to finish. You will leave equipped with the skills and knowledge to go home and build your very own oven.
The lessons are held by Fabio Ernetti, expert on clay oven building and friend of Hortus Urbis and Terra Onlus!

_ Friday October 13th from 5pm to 6pm
_ Saturday October 14th from 9am to 5pm
_ Sunday October 15th from 9am to 5pm

Additional information:
- Bring working clothes and a picnic lunch
- Materials and tools will be provided
- Manual ability advisable
- The lesson is outdoor, in case of rain the activities will be post-poned

HOW TO REACH US
Hortus Urbis at the former paper mill “ Cartiera Latina”, via Appia Antica, 42 /50 (near the fountain)
Bike: Cristoforo Colombo bike route and Circonvallazione Ardeatina.
Bus: 118 on the Appia Antica (Domine Quo Vadis stop) or 30express, 2018, 714 and 715 (Cristoforo Colombo/Bavastro stop or Cristoforo Colombo/Circonvallazione Ostiense stop) and then short walk along the Circonvallazione Ardeatina in the Scott Park.
Car: parking at via Carlo Conti Rossini, Largo Gavaligi, via Omboni, via Scott and surroundings and then short walk along the Circonvallazione Ardeatina in the Scott Park.
