Saturday, October 20th, we are pleased to invite you to the outdoor Autumn activities of the Hortus Urbis, the garden in the Appia Antica Park with solely ancient Roman plants.
At 10am – HAIKU GARDEN | Workshop for all, by Semidicarta
To compose a small poem like a haiku you need a beautiful garden. Why not spend a nice morning together, children and parents, who love flowers, plants, trees and words!
With few simple rules we will learn how to compose haiku, we will capture sounds, colors and emotions the garden bestows, and express them in emotion-words.
For children it will be a playful experience to search for the words for the immediate and present emotion, for adults it will be the occasion to give voice to authentic poetical thoughts.
The verses will be accompanied by your sketches with the guidance of the illustrator and painter Gioai Marchegiani.
- Ages from 6 to 99
