Saturday May 18th, we are pleased to invite you to the outdoor Spring activities of the Hortus Urbis, the edible garden in the Appia Antica Park with solely ancient Roman plants.
From 15.00 – “SEED BOMBS FOR ROMAN BEES” – Workshop for small gardeners by Hortus Urbis.
You will discover the magic of seeds, the shapes, the colors, the sizes, the smells. At the end of the workshop, each child will bring home something to sow and throw … the SEED BOMBS!
You will receive everything you need to protect your small seeds from predators and drought by mixing soil, clay and seasonal seeds until you obtain small balls to grow flowers and vegetables, helping to make the city, the street near your home and your home more beautiful and helping the little bees too!
